We accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express, and Discover cards. We do not accept Visa gift cards or other prepaid cards. The web page on which you enter your credit card number and other payment information is protected with industry-standard 128-bit SSL encryption. Your credit card information is never stored on our servers or in our customer database--we never even see your credit card number. See our Privacy Notice for more information about the security of your transaction.

The billing address for your order must match the address shown on your credit card statement. If the billing address you use for your order does not match, your credit card will be declined. By default the billing address for your order is the same as your shipping address, so you must manually change the billing address if you need your order shipped to a different address. If your card is declined because you give the wrong billing address, the bank that issued your credit card may show that the amount of the order has been preauthorized as a pending charge in your account. However, this pending charge will be voided automatically after a brief period of time that is determined by the issuing bank. Under this circumstance, we have not received the payment for your order and cannot ship the order. We cannot manually correct this error for you. Security regulations stipulate that we are not given your complete credit card number, so we cannot manually process your order.

We do not accept Visa gift cards or other prepaid cards.

PayPal

We also accept payment using the popular PayPal service. Our PayPal address is sales@paperjade.com. In most circumstances you will not need to know this address, since it will be automatically provided when you select PayPal as your payment option when you complete your purchase.

Note: At this time PayPal payments do not correctly include the shippping fee for orders shipped outside of the United States. If you use PayPal for an international shipment, we will send you a PayPal Money Request for the shipping fee for your order. If we do not receive this payment within 48 hours after issuing the request, we will cancel your order and refund your payment. Alternatively, you may send the shipping fee to our PayPal address yourself. Your fee is shown on your order summary.

Checks and Money Orders

We accept checks and money orders in US funds paid from a US bank. We do not accept any checks or money orders from other countries. We will ship your order when we receive your payment. Large checks from first-time customers may be held until cleared by your bank before we ship your order. If we do not receive your payment within 7 days after you place your order, we will cancel your order so that we can restock the items.

If your check is not paid on presentment, you agree to pay a charge of $20, or any higher amount allowed by law. We may electronically debit or draft your account for this charge. Also, if your check is returned for insufficient or uncollected funds, your check may be electronically re-presented for payment.

Cash

Please do not send cash to pay for your order. There is no way to trace or recover cash sent through the mail. We will not be held responsible for any cash that you send to us.

Purchase Orders

Sorry, we no longer accept purchase orders. While we extended this courtesy in the past, the negligence of several schools has demonstrated that it is not in our best interest as a business to continue to accept purchase orders.
